Panda passed 10K instagram followers today!
…well, okay. To clarify, this didn’t technically happen today. It took me a minute (or 3ish weeks) to put together this giveaway… so this milestone happened nearly a month ago. However, for purposes of rhetoric, let’s say it happened today!
To mark the occation, I decided to go back to the very beginning of this “I’m quitting a full time job and pursuing my dream of being an artist seriously” journey and offer Panda’s awesome, AWESOME followers a print of the 100 Character paintings:

Right before posting this giveaway, I had an imposter syndrome attack. What if no one likes it? These character paintings didn’t do too well on instagram last time. If it flops again, it’ll prove that…(blahblahblah, the evil gremlin voice of shame continues on…)
Well.
I posted the giveaway this morning at 8:30am. As of 2:03, it’s at 521 likes and 168 comments! And Panda’s baby email list has already grown from 249 to 323!

While part of me wants to delete that previous sentence (isn’t it obnoxious and a bit pathetic to be pumped up about social media metrics?), I’m leaving it here for a purpose.
To past Linda (who despaired about making her way as an artist): we’ve already come so far… and we’re still moving forward. 万事起步难, but 一步一步来… we got this!
To future Linda: I wonder where we’ll be, after a thousand more of those steps?
